Manchester City player faces additional rape trial in July

Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy is facing another allegation of rape, bringing his total number of charges up to nine. He is due to go on trial on July 25th. Similar to Manchester Utd footballer Mason Greenwood, Mendy has also been released on bail, but remains suspended by the club he is signed to.
